UNSTUFFED CABBAGE ROLLS

Ingredients
2 pounds lean ground beef
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tsp garlic, minced
15 ounces tomato sauce
2 cans of diced tomatoes
1 tsp Italian seasoning
4 to 5 cups cabbage, chopped
How To Make Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls
FIRST STEP:
In a large skillet, heat the Olive Oil and add in the ground beef and the onion.

Saute the ground beef until it is completely cooked

SECOND STEP:
Add in the minced garlic, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, the cabbage, the Italian Seasoning and the salt and pepper.

Stir to combine well

THIRD STEP:
Reduce the heat to simmer, cover the skillet and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, until the cabbage is softened.

FOURTH STEP:
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve!

Serve with mashed potatoes, a chilled salad or roasted vegetables. Virtually anything will taste good if you want a side for this dish. Or, eat it as a one pan meal. Either way, it is a hearty and comforting dish to enjoy on a chilly evening. And it does not take long to make!
