Cheesy and Crunchy Doritos Chicken Casserole


2 cups cooked and shredded chicken (rotisserie or boiled chicken works well)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup crushed Doritos (Nacho Cheese flavor works best)
1/2 cup diced green onions (optional)
1/2 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste


Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked and shredded chicken with cream of chicken soup, sour cream, half of the shredded cheddar cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix everything until well combined.
Layer the bottom of the greased baking dish with half of the crushed Doritos.
Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the layer of Doritos in the baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining crushed Doritos over the chicken layer.
Top the casserole with the rest of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.

If you’re using optional ingredients like green onions, tomatoes, or black olives, you can scatter them over the top of the casserole as well.
Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is heated through and the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
After baking, remove the foil and allow the casserole to cook for an additional 5 minutes to let the top get crispy and crunchy.
Once done, remove from the oven, and let it cool slightly before serving.
Serve your Cheesy and Crunchy Doritos Chicken Casserole with a side salad or some steamed vegetables for a delicious and satisfying meal. Enjoy!
