I made this recipe last weekend and it was requested again this week

1 unbaked pie crust (pastry shell)
4 large eggs
1 container of softened cream cheese
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: whipped cream, more pecans, caramel sauce (for serving)
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F and place an uncooked pastry shell in a 9-inch pie dish.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, 1 egg, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth. Spread this in pastry shell.
3. Sprinkle chopped pecans over on top of this mixture.
4. Beat brown sugar, 3 eggs, and corn syrup. Pour this over pecans.
5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
