Ingredients:
2 cups dry Macaroni
6 oz. Claw Crab Meat
8 oz. Shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 oz. Sour Cream
4 Tablespoons Butter
2 Tablespoons Flour
1 Spring Onion
1 can Evaporated Milk
8 oz. block Sharp White Cheddar Cheese
4 oz. block Mozzarella Cheese
¼ cup Panko Bread Crumbs
Salt and Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
If necessary, peel and devein the shrimp.
Cook macaroni as per the package instructions and drain well.
In a large bowl, mix the cooked macaroni with sour cream until all noodles are evenly coated.
Stir in the crab meat.
Chop the spring onion finely and set it aside.
Grate both the white cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, and set them aside separately.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter and cook the shrimp until they are just done. Remove the shrimp, let them cool slightly, then chop them and add to the macaroni mix.
In the same pan, sauté the chopped onions until tender.
Sprinkle flour over the onions, mix well, and let it cook for about a minute to brown slightly.
Gradually add evaporated milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
Slowly add the grated cheddar, stirring constantly until it’s completely melted.
Pour this cheese sauce over the macaroni and seafood mixture, stirring to combine everything well.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer the mixture into a buttered baking dish.
Top with grated mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
For added color, sprinkle a little paprika on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the top is lightly browned.
