Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups finely chopped pecans
1 cup softened butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup honey
3 teaspoons vanilla extract
Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 300°F.
2. In a bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
3. In another bowl, cream together 1 cup of softened butter, 1/4 cup of honey, and 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract until well mixed.
4. Gradually add the dry flour mixture to the wet ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
5. Stir in 2 cups of finely chopped pecans.
6. Shape the dough into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on an ungreased baking sheet.
7. Bake for 40 minutes or until the cookies are just set and lightly golden.
8. Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool. Once cooled, dust the Pecan Butterballs with powdered sugar.
