This is a ‘never fail’ recipe passed down for generations in my family, and I swear by it every time I need my fix

Ingredients:

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1 egg, slightly beaten

1½ teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup milk

Instructions:

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, beaten egg, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add in the milk, stirring to combine.

Turn the dough onto a floured surface. Knead gently for a minute or two until smooth and elastic. Roll out to a thickness of 1/4 inch and cut into small squares or your preferred shapes.

Gently drop the dumplings into simmering stew or soup. Ensure they’re fully submerged.

Cover the pot and cook for 15-20 minutes, until the dumplings are light and fluffy.

Serve these Never Fail Dumplings hot, ladled over your favorite soup or stew. Enjoy their heartwarming taste and comforting texture, sure to please even the most discerning palates.”
