This is absolutely divine! I can still taste it in my mouth. This recipe is a keeper


1½ cups all-purpose flour
2 peeled and cubed apples
½ cup butter, room temperature
½ cup milk
⅔ cup granulated sugar
⅓ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 eggs
1¾ teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
For the glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 1 tablespoon milk
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the peeled and diced apples with brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Set aside.
3. In another bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, room-temperature butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.
4. Stir in the flour and baking soda until just combined.
5. Gradually add in ½ cup of milk, mixing until the batter is smooth.
6. Gently fold the apple mixture into the batter.
7. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
8. Bake for approximately 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. While the bread is baking, prepare the glaze by mixing 1 tablespoon of milk with ½ cup of powdered sugar until smooth.
10. Once the bread is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes.
11. Drizzle the glaze over the warm bread.

Allow the bread to cool for a bit more before slicing and serving.
